What's on your bedside table?
Books, toybox, pills, rings, bookmarks, not sure what else.
What do you eat when you raid the fridge at night?
Mullerlight at the moment :-) Otherwise I prefer to raid the breadbin and have bread with cheese or jam or peanut butter or mayonnaise or one of a large number of other things on it.
What is your secret guaranteed weeping movie?
Oh there are several films I'll cry at and none of them are a secret. Probably closest I get it ET, which I *refused* to cry at age 8 (a metter of principle) but which gets me every time these days.
If you could have plastic surgery, what would you have done?
I don't know if I would. Perhaps I'd get my teeth professionally whitened if I had to do something. Even though I'm not exactly thrilled with some bits of me I'm not that desperate to do anything drastic about them.
Do you have a completely irrational fear?
Teeth falling out.
What is the little physical habit that gives away your insecure moments?
I get very quiet. Either that or talk too much. Not usually both at once.
Do you ever have to beg?
Don't think so.
Do you have too many love interests?
Nah. I have had at times in the past, but it seems OK these days.
Do you know anyone famous?
My mum's god-daughter's aunt and uncle have worked for various Hollywood people as cook and butler respectively. I think that's about as close as I get.
Describe your bed:
Erm, big enough, nice and firm and comfy although some people think it's too hard, dull but functional. Squeaks a bit but I think that's actually mostly the floorboards underneath. Storage drawers which are ideal for gathering junk.
Spontaneous or plan?
Who should play you in a movie about your life?
No idea. So long as they're not too skinny.
Do you know how to play poker?
I know the vague rules, I can usually remember what beats what, I've never quite got the knack of the betting, and I don't have a poker face.
What do you carry with you at all times?
Nothing. But things I carry around often are: keys (almost always, but if I can persuade Richard to bring his I'll leave them home), purse (if I'm likely to want to spend anything), phone (if it's charged and I can be bothered). That's it really, and I'd like not to have to. I travel light for preference.
How do you drive?
With L plates, but not too bad I hope. And rarely.
What do you miss most about being little?
Ability to hide in tiny improbable places when playing hide and seek. Being able to eat anything and stay thin. Not having to worry about money.
Are you happy with your given name?
Yeah, it's nice enough. I certainly wouldn't change it.
How much money would it take to get you to give up the Internet for a year?
What color is your bedroom?
Grey and cream mostly. Needs redecorating.
What was the last song you were listening to?
Whatever the last track on the Kathryn Williams album Little Black Numbers is.
Have you ever been in a school play?
Yup, starting with Mary in the Nativity in infant school, major parts through junior school due to being good at remembering lines, minor speaking parts in a couple of Shakespeares at High School, because regardless of the former I'm not very good at acting.
Who are your best friends?
Richard is my closest friend. I have other friends who are close, but mostly I end up feeling like a lot of them are just friends-of-friends and so on. Jan's my bestest female friend, even if we don't get enough time to be girly together :-)
Have you ever been in love?
Over and over again.
Do you like yourself and believe in yourself?
Sometimes, not always, I have my bad days.
Have you ever done any illegal drugs?
Yes, and probably will again, but I don't go out of my way for it, and will often turned down a passed spliff just because I don't feel like it.
Do you think you're cute?
Yes, even when I'm fat I'm still cute, I just can't always see it and I'm sure a lot of other people don't either.
Do you consider yourself to be a nice person?
I try to be. Too nice sometimes, I let people walk all over me sometimes, but it's usually worth it.
Do you spend more time with your girlfriend, boyfriend, or your friends?
Boyfriend, since we live together, my friends are often busy but I try see them when possible. Don't see much of family these days, but find them better in small doses anyway.
[No longer friends-only]
