Tired and listless

At least it's the weekend. Have finished Prince Caspian and Voyage of the Dawn Trader. Decided to read the rest of the Narnia all at once though so shall write them all up in one post once I've finished the other two. Had a couple of singularly unproductive days at work. Don't think I've done much beyond the routine stuff and chasing daft user problems since Wednesday's meeting really. This is Not Good [TM]. Had a great lunch in the Spread Eagle with Jan. Their steak is excellent, tender and with just the right amount of pepper. Cooking curry this evening. Doing my best to emulate the effect you get from real curry place veggie curries of sitting there and wondering just how many different types of veg are in it. (9, not including chilli, garlic or ginger as veg, and counting fresh and tinned tomatoes as only 1). After that I feel like I could just go to sleep, but maybe food will perk me up again. Curling up on the sofa with a film or in bed with a book is probably a more pleasant plan. Damn, and I've missed the Victoria Wood program completely this week. Anyway, dinner must be nearly ready.
